Top engine builders for the most prestigious forms of motorsports have long recognized that thin rings make More Horsepower due to a reduction in friction and better ring sealing. In response, most of the world’s leading piston manufacturers offer as standard, thinner ring grooves. The challenge until now was that there was a very limited choice of ring packages that were expensive and often made of inferior materials.

Total Seal TFX Rings solve these problems by utilizing proprietary ring manufacturing processes, high-quality 440B stainless and 9000 series steel, and our proprietary C56 face coating. The result is a high Horsepower and Torque per dollar ratio, with decreased wear and oil consumption. *

Total Seal TFX Ring Sets come in two ring thickness packages. 1.2mm Top, 1.2mm Second, and 3mm Oil Control for most domestic applications; and 1mm Top, 1mm Second, and 2mm Oil Control for high piston pin location, and many import applications.
